GEORGE EADS

George Eads was born - said to be on March the 1st and raised in Waco, Texas. The son of a lawyer and a mother who's a school principal, he was brought up in Texas.
At Belton High School, he was an avid athlete who excelled in football and basketball. He acted in a few plays, but football was his life. Subsequently, he graduated from Belton High School in Belton, TX in 1985 and finished a marketing degree in Texas Tech University in 1990. It was during his college years at Texas Tech that he began to think about pursuing an acting career. "I mentioned it to my mother one day while I was in college, and she said she thought it was a pretty good idea," he says. "I was close to finishing school, so she wanted me to complete that so I would have something to fall back on."
George Eads' immense fondness for playing "make-believe" while growing up should have been a good indication that he would not end up with a career in sales, as was his initial intention.
When an opportunity to teach drama presented itself at a local middle school, Eads jumped at it. He supposedly studied in an Acting School called KD Studio! Honing his acting skills and studies, first in Texas, Eads eventually made the move to Los Angeles with the money he saved doing commercial work.
Right now, at 33, his career is finally starting to take off with the success of CSI. Eads' television movie credits include The Spring, Broken Crown, and The Ultimate Lie. He has appeared as a guest star in Strange Luck, as well as multiple episodes of ER and starred in the drama Savannah.
Eads' feature film credits include Only in America and Dust to Dust.

JEREMY BLOOM

Jeremy Bloom was born 2 April 1982, in Fort Collins Colorado USA. An Olympic skier at age 19, he started skiing when he was three. He was a competitive alpine racer before turning to moguls. He made it to the 2002 Olympics. Leading up to the Olympics, he was garnering attention for his toned and extremely physically fit body. He consistently ranked in the top ten of "most sought after for information" on Olympic athletes. At university he plays a lot of football! This multi-talented athlete postponed attending school on a football scholarship in order to follow his dream of participating in the Olympics.
It was an urge that Bloom first experienced at age three, when he learned to ski at the Keystone Colorado Resort. His mom, Char, an instructor there, taught Jeremy the basics, but his grandfather Jerry Bloom provided the incentive by tossing candy bars down the mountain during family ski weekends. For young Jeremy, who grew up in a health-food-only household, the prospect of a Hershey bar was enough to overcome his fears on Keystone's steepest trails. Soon Char and Jeremy's father, Larry, were looking back on black-diamond mogul runs to see their youngest son bumping along after them. "People would stop and stare," says Char. "They'd ask, 'Why aren't you entering him in competitions?'"
Char assented when Jeremy was five. His first competition was the Small World Cup, a local Alpine event. On his first run Jeremy tucked in and shot straight down the hill. "See those flags?" Char asked her son afterward. "This time, go around them." He nodded, heard the beep and ignored the flags again. Char threw up her hands in amused acquiescence: Her son, it seemed, was destined for straight-line skiing. He accomplished that goal; in fact, Bloom won the overall World Cup moguls' title in his first full season on the circuit.
Bloom's motto reflects his unrelenting drive to be the best in his athletic endeavors: "Compete like you are number one, train like you are number two."
Question: Is your sport really as dangerous as it looks to novices? Is that part of the appeal?

Blaine Wilson ( American Gymnast)

Blaine Wilson. For 14 years now, the name has been on the national scene, for 14 years now, other athletes have looked to the name, for 14 years now, Blaine Wilson has dominated USA Gymnastics. 13-Time US National Team Member, 5-time US National Champion, 5-time American Cup Champion, 3-time Olympic team member, 3-time World team member, 1998 Goodwill Games All-Around Bronze Medalist, & 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist.
After numerous shoulder injuries, many ruled Blaine out in his quest for an Olympic Medal, but nothing could stop him. After loosing a child, and watching another grow, Blaine's whole attitude to the sport changed. No longer was he the bad boy of gymnastics, he was the experienced one that everyone looked to. So as the 2004 Olympic Year began, everyone looked to Blaine to show them how it's done. In February a torn biceps, almost crushed Blaine's Olympic Dreams, but he had worked to hard to give up now. Blaine fought back against what many thought was impossible, he came through and made the Olympic Team. In Athens, Blaine was out to win a medal, not for himself, but for his country. He did just that. With his team they won the first Olympic Medal since 1932 in a non boycotted Olympics, Silver. Although Blaine had announced that his career would be ending after the 2004 Olympic Games, you won't find him away from the gym just yet. After touring with the Rock 'n' Roll Tour, Blaine decided to give it one more year, in hopes of earning his sixth national title. Blaine's career is one that no gymnastics fan will forget too eaisly, how could you, 5 National Titles, 5 American Cup Titles, and Olympic Silver.
